Ticketholders are urged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

Public transport is the best way to get to Allianz Stadium with frequent light rail and buses servicing the Moore Park area. Travel on transport is included in your ticket to the game so leave the car at home as parking will be in high demand.

Trains to the City run regularly where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from Allianz Stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby.

Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the match. See ourMoore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.

If you have to drive, allow extra travel time as traffic will be heavier than usual on roads approaching the precinct as fans travel to and from the match. Carpool with your group as parking in the precinct may fill quickly. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com.

Parking is available near Allianz Stadium at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, grass car park on Driver Avenue and Sydney Boys & Girls High School car park off Cleveland Street. A flat rate event parking fee will apply.

Valid pre-purchased tickets to Sydney Roosters 2024 season home games at Allianz Stadium include travel to and from Moore Park on the following transport services, just show your event ticket to transport staff when boarding:

  • Sydney Trains and NSW TrainLink Intercity services (non-booked services bounded by Bomaderry, Goulburn, Bathurst, Scone and Dungog stations)
  • Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses
  • Sydney Metro North West services
  • Sydney and Newcastle Light Rail services
  • Sydney and Newcastle Ferries

Remember to keep your event ticket safe for your return journey or you'll need to use your Opal card or contactless payment method, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport. Your match ticket is valid on the modes of public transport listed above until 4am the following day.

Note: an additionaltrain station access fee applies for travel to or from Domestic and International Airport stations. The access fee is not covered by your event ticket travel entitlements.

Transport Park&Ride Car Parks

Park for free when you catch public transport. Transport Park&Ride provides up to 18 hours free parking each day. All you have to do is complete a public transport trip.Located close to public transport hubs, Park&Ride car parks help you connect more easily to train, bus and ferry services.

Tickets to Sydney Roosters 2024/2025 season matches at Allianz Stadium include travel on transport and free Park&Ride parking. When leaving the car park use the intercom button at the exit gate to speak with the operator and show your event ticket.

If you use a Transport Connect account to access Park&Ride, the boom gate will automatically open as you leave the car park so you’ll need to request a refund in your account.

metro Metro

Sydney Metro services are high-frequency, driverless trains running between Tallawong Station and Chatswood Station.

Please note that due to planned weekend trackwork, buses replace all Metro services between Tallawong and Chatswood.

Catch a rail replacement bus to Epping or Chatswood and connect with trains to the city then light rail services to Moore Park. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner.

The closest stations to Allianz Stadium are Central and Bondi Junction.

From Central, catch a light rail service to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.Alternatively, consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway.See ourMoore Park walking route map (pdf 550KB)to find your way.

From Bondi Junction, catch one of the many regular route buses from the Interchange to Oxford Street to get within walking distance of the stadium.

Trackwork

Planned weekend trackwork is taking place on Sunday 30 June on the following lines and may affect how you travel to and from the event. Plan ahead using the Trip Planner:

  • Metro North West Line: Buses replace metro between Tallawong and Chatswood.
  • City Circle Line: Trains will not run to Museum, St James or Circular Quay. T1 North Shore & Western, T2 Inner West and T9 Northern Line trains continue to run between Central, Town Hall and Wynyard. T4 Eastern Suburbs Line trains continue to run between Central, Town Hall, Martin Place and Kings Cross. The light rail runs between Central and Circular Quay. If you are travelling to Circular Quay, change at Wynyard for the light rail or walk. If you are travelling to Museum or St James, change at Central or Town Hall for local buses or walk.
  • T1 Western Line: Penrith trains make an extra stop at Ashfield. Richmond trains run to a changed timetable and stopping pattern between Richmond and Olympic Park. Change trains at Parramatta to continue your journey towards Central. From 6.30am to 10.30am, Richmond trains start and end at Strathfield.
  • T2 Inner West & Leppington Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Buses also replace T8 Airport & South Line trains between Glenfield and Central via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur and Central, platforms 1-12. Inner West trains run to a changed timetable between Homebush and North Sydney due to City Circle trackwork. T1 Western Line Penrith trains make an extra stop at Ashfield.
  • T3 Bankstown Line: Trains run between Liverpool or Lidcombe and Redfern only, some to a changed timetable. T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line trains run between Redfern and Bondi Junction. Trackwork on the City Circle may also affect how you travel. If you are travelling to Circular Quay change at Town Hall for the light rail.
  • T5 Cumberland Line: Buses replace trains between Leppington and Glenfield. Most trains run between Schofields and Liverpool, to the normal timetable. Early morning and late night trains run to a changed timetable between Richmond and Olympic Park, making extra stops at Granville and Lidcombe. Change trains at Granville or Lidcombe to continue your journey.
  • T8 Airport & South Line: Buses replace trains between Glenfield, Sydenham and Central via the Airport. Trains run to a changed timetable between Macarthur, Campbelltown and Central via Granville, Sydenham and Central, continuing to Bondi Junction. Due to City Circle trackwork, if you are travelling to Circular Quay change at Town Hall for the light rail.
  • South Coast Line: From 2.30am to 9.50am, buses replace trains between Bomaderry and Wollongong. You may need to change buses to continue your journey. Trains run between Port Kembla, Wollongong and Bondi Junction, some to a changed timetable. The 02:39 Kiama to Bondi Junction service will run up to 14 minutes earlier than the normal timetable from Kiama to Coniston, then run to the normal timetable from Wollongong to Bondi Junction.

bus Bus

A number of regular Sydney Buses service stops along Anzac Parade near the precinct, including routes 339 and 374. From Bondi Junction Interchange, catch routes 333, 352 or 440 to Oxford Street or catch route 355 buses to Lang Road which is within short walking distance of the stadium.

lightrail Light Rail

L1 Dulwich Hill Line

L1 Dulwich Hill Line light rail services run between Central Station (Grand Concourse) and Dulwich Hill via Darling Harbour and the Inner West. Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

From Central, change for light rail service on the L2 or L3 Line to Moore Park leaving from Chalmers Street.

L2 Randwick and L3 Kingsford Lines

L2 Randwick light rail services run between Circular Quay and Randwick via Central Station (Chalmers Street) and L3 Kingsford line services run between Circular Quay and Juniors Kingsford via Central Station (Chalmers Street). Services run regularly from 5am to 1am daily, plan your trip using the Trip Planner.

Catch L2 or L3 light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park stop is located along Anzac Parade, just south of Allianz Stadium.

If you have to drive, carpool with your group and allow extra travel time as traffic may be heavier than usual as fans travel to and from the match. Fans are encouraged to leave the car at home and catch public transport to avoid traffic delays.

Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium from 4:15pm. No through traffic will be permitted. Access to EP3 grass car park and drop-off areas maintained from Lang Road.

To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

Moore Park Car Parks

Parking will be in high demand and will fill quickly. Carpool with your group and aim to arrive early to secure a parking space.

  • Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park: Open 24 hours. Flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Errol Flynn Boulevard from Lang Road.
  • Showground Field (EP3) grass car park: Open from 1pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry on Driver Avenue via Lang Road.
  • Sydney Boys High School and Sydney Girls High School: Car Park open from around 1pm. Cashless, flat rate event parking fees apply. Entry via Cleveland Street. Use the Anzac Parade pedestrian bridge to get to and from the SCG.

Please note, EP2 grass car park will not open for this match.

Special Event Clearways

Special event clearways will be in place on roads in Moore Park and surrounding areas from 3pm to 10pm on sections of Lang Road, Fitzroy Street, Moore Park Road, Albion Street, Cleveland Street, Flinders Street and Foveaux Street.

Clearways are strict no-parking zones for all vehicle types and apply even to local residents and TfNSW Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs carefully as vehicles left in clearways will be towed and a fee applies. If your vehicle is towed, you can search your vehicle registration at the Find My Car website to find its new location, or alternatively call 132 701 to speak to an operator.
